Worth to mention a great performance of center June Mar Fajardo (210-1989) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Celedonio Trollano (191-1992) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. point guard Jayson Castro William (180-1986) replied with 20 points and 6 assists for TNT Tropang. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. SM Beermen have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. TNT Tropang at the other side dropped to the seventh position with two games lost.
Rain or Shine's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Quezon, where they defeated Phoenix (1-4) 100-85. Worth to mention a great performance of Adrian Nocum who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Beau Belga who added 21 points and 11 rebounds during the contest.
