Phoenix - Hotshots 79-82

Hotshots dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Phoenix's 34. Hotshots forced 20 Phoenix turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Phoenix helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tyler Bey (201-1998, college: Colorado) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Jiovani Jalalon (175-1992) contributed with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American power forward Johnathan Williams III (206-1995, college: Gonzaga, agency: Slash Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 18 rebounds and 7 assists and naturalized American forward Jason Perkins (193-1992, college: VCSU) added 25 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Phoenix. Four Phoenix players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

SM Beermen players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American forward Bennie Boatwright (208-1996, college: USC) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and guard Jaymar Perez (188-1993) chipped in 26 points and 5 rebounds. SM Beermen's coach Jorge Gallent allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side naturalized German forward Christian Standhardinger (206-1989, college: Hawaii) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and Panamanian forward Tony Bishop (202-1989, college: Texas St., agency: 011 Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
