Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (PBA) landed experienced 35-year old American 203cm power forward DaJuan Summers (college: Georgetown) for new season. Summers played this summer at Ball Hogs (Big3) in the U.S. The last season he played at Al-Muharraq (Premier League) in Bahrain league. He helped them to make it to the cup final. Summers also played for Homentmen in Lebanese LBL where in 5 games he averaged impressive 28.4ppg, 16.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg. He also spent pre-season at Kings (PLeague+) in Taiwanese league.
In 2009 he was drafted by Detroit Pistons (NBA) in second round (35th overall). Summers graduated from Georgetown University and it will be his 16th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in thirteen different countries playing on four different continents. Summers is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in France (Metropolitans), Iran (Mahram), Italy, Japan (Shimane Susanoo Magic), Korea (Seoul Knights), Puerto Rico (Indios), Saudi Arabia (Ittihad), Spain (Gran Canaria), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka and Galatasaray), Ukraine (Budivelnyk), NBA (NY Knicks and Charlotte Hornets), NBA G League (Maine Celtics and Westchester Knicks) and Big3 (Tri-State). His team won Big East Regular Season in 2007 and 2008.
