The 25-year old player was the main contributor (36 points, eight rebounds and six assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush NLEX RW (#11, 3-6) with 20-point margin 118-98. It allowed Bay Area D. to take over top position in the Filipino PBA. Bay Area D. have a solid 8-2 record. In the team's last game Powell had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Bay Area D.'s top player in his first season with the team. Former Seton Hall University star has very solid stats this year. Powell is league's best scorer averaging so far 38.2ppg. Powell is in league's top in and averages impressive 2.2spg,55.3% FGP and 41.7% from behind 3-point line. The second best player in last round's games was young Arvin Tolentino (195-F-1995) of North Port. Tolentino had a very good evening with a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds. It was enough for North Port to edge Terrafirma Dyip (#13, 0-9) 91-85. This victory allowed North Port to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 5-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Tolentino is a newcomer at North Port, but is already one of team's top players. Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Quincy Miller-Scott (206-F-1992, agency: Slash Sports) of league's second-best FiberXers. They will still need more victories. But 8-2 record is not that bad... Miller-Scott has a great season in Philippines. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.7ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 16.4rpg (3rd best). He also has 3.0bpg and FGP: 60.7%.
