Nicholson's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

33-year old power forward Andrew Nicholson (206-PF-1989) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Bay Area D. and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had a double-double of 39 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed SM Beermen (#11, 1-2) with 26-point margin 113-87. Bay Area D. maintains the 2nd position in Filipino league. They are still close to the very top. Bay Area D. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Nicholson had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He turned to be Bay Area D.'s top player in his first season with the team. Second best performed player last round was Quincy Miller-Scott (206-F-1992) of FiberXers. He is American forward in his first season at FiberXers. In the last game Miller-Scott recorded impressive double-double of 29 points and 16 rebounds. Third place about best performers goes to forward Cameron Oliver (203-F-1996) of TNT Tropang (#5). Oliver scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was a key player of TNT Tropang, leading his team to a 110-91 easy win against the lower-ranked Rain or Shine (#10, 2-3). TNT Tropang needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost games. Oliver has a great season in Philippines.
