Clinical Lady Bulldogs thump Eagles; Tigresses share lead

The unstoppable National University Lady Bulldogs inched closer to a milestone 100th win. In another clinical performance, NU ripped Ateneo in a wire-to-wire win, 89-52, to grab a 2-0 lead in the UAAP Season 85 women's basketball tournament on Tuesday, October 5, at UST's Quadricentennial Pavillion in Espana, Manila. The lopsided decision extended the the Lady Bulldogs' league record to 98 straight wins. University of Santo Tomas also grabbed a share of the early top spot after blasting La Salle, 71-57, in the first game.
