Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Meralco Bolts moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hotshots and Blackwater Elite. Defending champion Ginebra Kings keep the third position with three games lost. Meralco Bolts will play against Hotshots (#5) in Pasig City in the next round. Rain or Shine made 27-of-31 free shots (87.1 percent) during the game. Guard Rey Nambatac (179-1994) fired 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Gian Mamuyac (180-1999) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Brandon Rosser (201-1994, college: UC Riverside) produced 19 points and Renato Ular added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side.
