Army Lady Battalion advanced to the Final beating Taguig Lady Generals 2-1 in the semifinal series. They posted a 51-44 win on Sunday to enter the Finals.
Both teams nailed 8 points each in the opening period, whilst Army Lady Battalion had a 14-13 run in the second frame. Moreover they increased the lead due to 19-7 surge in the third quarter and did not mind a narrow 10-16 loss at the end.
Janine Pontejos (165-G-1992) top-scored for the winners with 16 points. Mary Penaranda ended up with 9 points in the losing effort.
