Alaska Aces - Meralco Bolts 84-94 Ginebra Kings - SM Beermen 100-97 Ginebra Kings saw off SM Beermen to complete the sweep. Ginebra Kings had a 38-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Justin Brownlee (197-88, college: St.John's) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds for the winners and naturalized American point guard Stanley Pringle (184-87, college: Penn St., agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 24 points and 5 assists. Brownlee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side center June-Mar Fajardo (210-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican swingman John Holland (195-88, college: Boston U., agency: Wasserman) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four SM Beermen players scored in double figures. North Port made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. North Port outrebounded NLEX RW 60-46 including 24 on the offensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by NLEX RW helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Michael Qualls (197-94, college: Arkansas, agency: Inception Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized German forward Christian Standhardinger (206-89, college: Hawaii) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Kiefer-Isaac Ravena (181-93) produced 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and JR Quinahan (198-84) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Four NLEX RW players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman KJ McDaniels (198-93, college: Clemson) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks. Point guard Jayson Castro-William (180-86) contributed with 30 points and 7 assists for the winners. American-North Macedonian Romeo Travis (198-84, college: Akron) answered with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 26 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Jiovani Jalalon (175-92) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Hotshots. Hotshots' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
