North Port signs Mychal Ammons, ex Tijuana

North Port Batang Pier (PBA) signed 27-year old American power forward Mychal Ammons (198-102kg-92, college: S.Alabama). He played last summer at Zonkeys de Tijuana in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 37 games he had very impressive stats: 16.7ppg, 8.5rpg (#5 in the league), 2.8apg and 1.4spg. Great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Honorable Mention. The last season Ammons played at Laguneros (LNBP) in Mexican league where in 44 games he recorded 15.0ppg, 7.3rpg, 2.3apg and 1.1spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Honorable Mention.
Ammons won Mexican CIBACOPA championship title in 2018.
He is quite experienced player. Ammons has played in five different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally also in Argentina (Estudiantes Concordia), Qatar (Al Gharafa), Slovakia (Levice) and North Macedonia (Feni Industries).
Ammons attended University of South Alabama until 2014 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
