Hotshots outgunned Ginebra Kings to even the series at 1-1. Hotshots forced 20 Ginebra Kings turnovers. The best player for the winners was power forward Ian-Paul Sangalang (201-91) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Jiovani Jalalon (175-92) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Five Hotshots players scored in double figures. Point guard Solomon Mercado (185-84, college: Biola, CA) produced 13 points and 6 rebounds and guard Earl-Scottie Thompson (188-93) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
