STANLEY PRINGLE

31-year old point guard Stanley Pringle (184-PG-87, agency: Pensack Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Global Port and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 27 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for Global Port in his team's victory, helping them to outclass TNT Ka Tropa (#3, 7-4) with 26-point margin 109-83. Global Port is placed at 10th position in Filipino league. Global Port is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-6 record. In the team's last game Pringle had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at Global Port, through which he has constantly improved. The Pennsylvania State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Pringle is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.9ppg), assists (9th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 2.8spg,54.1% FGP and 42.9% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Japeth Aguilar (206-C-87) of Ginebra Kings. He is a center in his 6th season at Ginebra Kings. In the last game Aguilar recorded impressive 27 points and 9 rebounds. Of course Ginebra Kings cruised to a 105-96 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked NLEX RW (#7, 4-6). Ginebra Kings' 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 6-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Aguilar is one of the most experienced players at Ginebra Kings and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#7). He also registered 7.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Christian Standhardinger (206-F-89) of SM Beermen (#4). Standhardinger scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was a key player of SM Beermen, leading his team to a 114-96 easy win against the lower-ranked Alaska Aces (#8, 4-6). SM Beermen needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 4 lost games. Standhardinger has a very solid season. In 6 games in Philippines he scored 17.5ppg. He also has 7.0rpg and FGP: 52.4%. Christian Standhardinger has also Filipino passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Scottie Thompson (188-G-93) of Ginebra Kings - 14 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists
5. Jaymar Perez (188-G-93) of Columbian Dyip - 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Moala Tautuaa (200-C-89) of Global Port - 19 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Chris Ross (185-G-85) of SM Beermen - 10 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists
8. Alex Cabagnot (183-G-82) of SM Beermen - 31 points and 4 rebounds

10. Nico Salva (191-F-90) of Meralco Bolts - 23 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
