Alaska Aces - Meralco Bolts 100-95

Alaska Aces held off Meralco Bolts to even the semifinal series. Alaska Aces made 20-of-21 charity shots (95.2 percent) during the game. Alaska Aces outrebounded Meralco Bolts 47-34 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American Mike Harris (198-83, college: Rice, agency: IPZ) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). Point guard Christopher Banchero (186-90, college: Seattle Pacific) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American power forward Allen Durham (198-88, college: Grace Bible) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists and forward Nico Salva (191-90) added 20 points in the effort for Meralco Bolts. Five Meralco Bolts players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.

The Ateneo Blue Eagles may have won the 2019 PBA D-League crown, but head coach Tab Baldwin is far from impressed with his wards.
