Donte Greene
Leones de Santo Domingo (LNB) signed 29-year old American forward Donte Greene (206-103kg-88, college: Syracuse). It is actually his comeback to Santo Domingo as he has played here before. Greene played last season at TNT Ka Tropa in Filipino PBA league. In 7 games he had very impressive stats: 29.0ppg, 14.4rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4bpg. The last summer Greene played at Capitanes in Puerto Rican league where in three Liga Americas games he recorded also remarkable stats: 17.0ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.0apg.
In 2008 Greene was drafted by Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) in first round (28th overall). He attended Syracuse University and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. Greene's team made it to the PBA Commissioner's final.
He was voted Big East All-Freshman Team back in 2008 at his college time.
Greene is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Greene has played previously professionally in China (Leopards), Saudi Arabia (Uhud), NBA (Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets and Sacramento Kings), Puerto Rico (Atleticos and Brujos) and United Arab Emirates (Al Naser and Al Sharjah).

Japan, Iran, Philippines, Kazakhstan, Lebanon and Jordan -who will qualify? - 4 hours ago
Things have been crazy in the Asian Qualifiers, and I'm here to see which teams will likely make it to the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China. Those twin defeats put Iran a whisker away from qualification and also kept the backdoor open for Kazakhstan to still make it to the biggest global basketball event. Of course, it...   [read more]
