Wayne Chism
LNBP newcomer Garzas de Plata Hidalgo strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American power forward Wayne Chism (206-111kg-87, college: Tennessee). He played last season at Rain or Shine in Filipino PBA league, but left. In two games he recorded 8.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.0spg and 1.5bpg. The last summer Chism was tested by Sagesse (Division A) in Lebanese league.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won PBA Commissioner's Cup Regular Season in 2015. Chism was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-PBA Commissioner's Cup Import Player of the Year in 2015.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Chism's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in five different countries. Chism has played previously professionally in France (Aix-Maurienne), Hungary (Alba, Sopron KC and Kaposvari), Israel (Galil Gilboa), Turkey (Antalya Buyuksehir Belediye) and D-League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants).
He attended University of Tennessee until 2010 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.

The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters is sending Raymond Almazan (206-C-89) to the Meralco Bolts in exchange for a pair of future first-round picks.
