Al Wathba sign a second foreign player

Brian Halums

Al Wathba Homs (SBL) landed 28-year old American (has also Palestinian passport) 196cm guard Brian Halums (college: UAFS, agency: The Crew A.M.) for new season. Halums is the second foreign player in the roster as Libyan Sofian Hamad signed here earlier.
He played most recently at Orthodox in Jordanian Premier League. He managed to play in four leagues in four countries last year (!!!). First he played at Beirut Club in Lebanese LBL where in two games he averaged impressive 17.0ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.5apg, 1.0spg and 1.5bpg. He has been regularly called to Palestinian Senior National Team since 2024.
Halums is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with Asian, African and of course North American leagues. Halums has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Hala), Iraq (Al-Hashd), Qatar (Qatar Club and Al Gharafa), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli, Ohod, Al Wehda and Al Fateh), Libya (Al Nasr) and Lebanon (Nadim Souaid Academy).
His team made it to the Qatari League Semifinals in 2023.
He graduated from University of Arkansas Fort Smith in 2020 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. Halums played for other colleges like: The University of Mississippi, Itawamba Community College.
