Al Alhy Benghazi (D1) added to their roster experienced 35-year old Palestinian-American ex-international shooting guard Kyndall Dykes (192cm-90kg-1987, college: New Orleans, agency: Slash Sports). Dykes started the season at Al Ittihad in Egyptian Superleague. He was a member of Palestinian Senior National Team two years ago.
Dykes is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in eight different countries. He has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Hala and Al-Muharraq), Israel (Gilboa Galil), Italy (Udine), Lebanon (Beirut Club), Poland (Anwil and Suzuki Arka), Romania (Targu Mures and Cluj Napoca), Ukraine (Polit-Halychyna and Hoverla) and Dominican Republic (San Carlos). Dykes won Romanian League championship title in 2011 and 2017 and the cup in 2016 and 2017. He was voted Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Player of the Year back in 2011 and 2019.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Ahly Benghazi.
Dykes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
He graduated from University of New Orleans in 2009 and it is his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player. Dykes played also for Navarro College for 2 years.
