UAE finished as the second seed after beating Palestine 74-51 at the 2025 Asia Cup Pre-Qualifiers. Trailing 4 points at the end of the first quarter, UAE posted a 25-17 surge in the second frame to take advantage in the game. They fully dominated the second half to seal the win.
Qais Alshabebi (200-C-1991) stepped up with 18 points for the winners and Hamid Abdulelah (190-G-2000) as well as Omer Alameri (205-C-1991) had 12 each. Jamal Mayali (192-G-1998) produced 19 points in a loss, whilst Efosa Osayande scored 16.
