PBBA Round 16: Sariya defeat Tracenta BH in the closest game of the week

Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 16 in the PBBA took place in Ramallah. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Tracenta BH (4-10) to eighth ranked Sariya (5-10) 82-79 on Saturday evening. Sariya moved-up to sixth place. Tracenta BH lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Sariya will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tracenta BH will play at home against the league's second-placed Orthodox RML (#2) and is hoping to win this game.
PBBA top team - Ibdae (12-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Alamal (2-13) in Dheisheh 128-60. Ibdae have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-1 record. Alamal at the other side stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Ibdae will play against Qalandia (#5) in the next round. Alamal will play against Beit Sahour (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last two games of round 16 Qalandia lost to Beit Gala on the opponent's court 87-93. Orthodox RML outscored Orthodox BTHL in a home game 101-63.



Beit Gala - Qalandia 93-87

Rather expected game when 5th ranked Qalandia (6-7) was defeated on the road by third ranked Beit Gala (8-3) 93-87. Beit Gala have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 8-3 record having six points less than leader Ibdae. Defending champion Qalandia keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Beit Gala will play against Orthodox BTHL (#7) in Bethlehem in the next round. Qalandia will play at home against the league's leader Ibdae and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Sariya - Tracenta BH 82-79

They maintain second position with 11-2 record behind leader Ibdae. Orthodox BTHL at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 12 games lost. Orthodox RML will play against Tracenta BH (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. Orthodox BTHL will play against Beit Gala and hopes to get back on the winning track.
