PBBA Round 7: No surprise as #1 Ibdae defeats Alamal- February 28, 2022
There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in PBBA. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Qalandia - Beit Gala 77-82 The game in was also worth to mention about. Leader Beit Gala (4-0) played at the court of 7th ranked Qalandia (2-5). Beit Gala managed to secure a 5-point victory 82-77. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Beit Gala. They maintain third place with 4-0 record having 2 victories less than leader Ibdae. Defending champion Qalandia keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Beit Gala will play against Orthodox BTHL (#8) in Bethlehem in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Qalandia will play on the road against the league's leader Ibdae in Dheisheh and hopes to get back on the winning track. Orthodox BTHL - Orthodox RML 74-108 The game in Bethlehem supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Orthodox RML (5-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Orthodox BTHL (1-6). Orthodox RML smashed Orthodox BTHL 108-74 on Friday. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Orthodox RML. They maintain second place with 5-2 record behind leader Ibdae. Orthodox BTHL lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with six games lost. Orthodox RML will meet at home Tracenta BH (#5) in the next round. Orthodox BTHL will play against Beit Gala and hope to win that game. Tracenta BH - Sariya 80-49 We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Sariya (3-3) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Tracenta BH (3-3) 80-49 on Saturday. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tracenta BH. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Sariya. Sariya lost their third game in a row. Tracenta BH will meet league's second-placed Orthodox RML in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sariya will have a break next round. Alamal - Ibdae 67-84 PBBA top team - Ibdae (6-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked Alamal (1-7) 84-67. Ibdae have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Alamal lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. Ibdae are looking forward to face Qalandia (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Alamal will play against Beit Sahour and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series. |
