Al Ahli Amman (Premier League) strengthened their roster with addition of Jordanian international power forward Hashem Abbas (198-98kg). He is the second import player in the roster as Canadian Fadi Ibrahim signed here earlier.
Abbas has a double citizenship as he also holds Palestinian passport. Abbas just graduated from Bridgeport (NCAA2). He has played there for the last three years. Abbas helped them to win the regular season and make it to the ECC Tournament final. His high school career he had spent at St. Thomas More Prep School in Oakdale, CT.
As mentioned above Abbas is just out of the college and it will be his first season in pro basketball. Abbas has been regularly called to Jordanian Senior National Team since 2019.
