Michael Nunnally joins Luoyang- July 6, 2018
In 2012 (two years after he left the college) Nunnally was drafted by Sioux Falls Skyforce (D-League) in seventh round (98th overall). The former University of Pacific standoutis in his ninth season in pro basketball. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Nunnally's team made it to the Japanese NBDL Semifinals in 2014. He was also voted Asia-basket.com All-West Asia Basketball Championships Honorable Mention in 2017. Nunnally represented Palestine at the West Asia Basketball Championships in Amman eighteen years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 8.4ppg, Reb-1 (10.4rpg), FGP: 45.0%, FT-3 (75.0%). Nunnally is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents. Nunnally tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Ciclista), Finland (Loimaan Korikonkarit), Germany (Nuernberg) and Japan (Kagawa Five Arrows and TGI D-Rise). On Nunnally: Michael Nunnally is a long athletic Physical Lefty who is able to handle the ball very well on the perimeter for a player of his size. He has a nice interior post game can finish with both HANDS inside and is also able to turn and face the basket and is developing the ability to to break defenders down off the drible. Although Nunally played mostly at the 5 in college, this is the type of player who is capable of playing mulitple positions. Look for this player to really blossom in a more open style of play.
