Anthony Simpson

Sarriyet (First) Ramallah (PBBA) inked 29-year old American power forward Anthony Simpson (202-87, college: Kent State). He moved there from Garra Canera de Navolato in Mexican CIBACOPA where he started the season. In only one game he had 15 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist this season. Simpson also played at Caballeros de Culiacan (CIBACOPA) in Mexico this season. In two games he recorded 11.5ppg, 6.0rpg and 2.5apg. Part of this season he spent at The Storm (NBL Canada) in Canadian NBL Canada. In two CIBACOPA games he averaged 3.0ppg and 3.0rpg. This season he also played at Etzella (Total League) in Luxembourg. In 30 games he averaged impressive 17.9ppg, 10.4rpg, 1.9apg and 2.1spg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Luxembourg League Honorable Mention and he was also participating in All-Star Game.
Among other achievements his team won MAC East Division Regular Season in 2010. Simpson received also Eurobasket.com All-Luxembourg League Center of the Year award back in 2013.
He is a very experienced player. Simpson has played also professionally in Korea (Anyang KGC), United Kingdom (Leicester Riders), Uruguay, Luxembourg (Residence) and IBA (Rockford RD).
He attended Kent State until 2010 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
