Pakistan suffered their third straight defeat in the basketball tournament of the first Islamic Solidarity Games when they lost to Libya 93-45 in the Saudi Arabian city of Medina on Monday night.
The men in green were hammered by Algeria and Tunisia in the first two matches and proved no match for the Libyans -- the third African team in their group.
"This is all because of inexperience. These boys have never played an international match, let alone a major event like the Islamic Games, Naseem Butt, the manager of the Pakistan team, said. "Matching the best of African teams is really not possible with a bunch of inexperienced players."
Pakistan next play Uzbekistan.
