Army Team Champion of Mushaf Ali Mir Shaheed Tournament; Nawazish Ali Best Player

Pakistan Army Basketball Team are the winners of the inaugural Mushaf Ali Mir All Pakistan Floodlit Basketball Tournament. They defeated in the final the Hahib Bank Limited (HBL) team 62-55. Army dominated from the start finishing the half 40-23. The closest HBL got was within five 54-49 and 56-51 but Army kept their cool and prevailed eventually winning by seven points. Army's Nawazish Ali was top scorer with 26 points with teammates Musadssar and Khalid adding 16 points each and Murtaza 8 points. For HBL, Zahid scored 18 points, Azam 14 and Muhammad Ashraf 9
The tornamwnt went on July 2-10, 2004 and the games were played in the Pakistan Rangers Headquarters courts. Air Chief Marshal Kaleem Saadat presided and delivered the winner's trophy to Army basketball team captain Muhammad Nawaz.
