17 teams in this year's Pakistani Basketball League

Pakistan Amateur Basketball Federation (PABF) Adhoc Committee is making all endeavors to promote the game of basketball in Pakistan.
A total of 17 teams have been invitied for particapation in this year's league comprising players from:
 -Pakistan Navy
 -Pakistan Army
 -Pakistan Airforce
 -Pakistan Railways
 -Pakistan Police
 -Higher Education Commission,
 -POF WAH
 -WAPDA
 -HBL
 -Pakistan Rangers
 -KESC
 -Six Provincial Associations namely: Punjab, Sindh, NWFP, Balochistan, Islamabad and FATA
Organizing Committee Chairman is Major General retired Sarfaraz Iqbal.
It is pertinent to mention that performance of the players would be considered for selection during the tournament for national camp for participation in forthcoming Islamic games in Saudi Arabia.
