Ahli Sidab under coach Mohammed Alowaisi was leading almost entire game, but experience of Nizwa point guard Bojan Malesevic who helped Nizwa to overcome deficit of 8 points in last 5 minutes of the fourth quarter, and records another victory. End of the game score was Ahli Sidab 58-63 Al Nizwa. Another game played last night was between As Seeb and last years champion Itifaq under coach Shafiq Al Busaidi. From the first minute As Seeb with strong and aggressive defense, showed they are on the right track this season. Last years champion Itifaq under scored unbelievable 11 points only in the first half. Coach Muris Memic known for strong, and aggressive defense of his previous teams, proved it one more time last night. End of the game score was As Seeb 80- Itifaq 42. It was nice to see team As Seeb playing as a team, good basketball defensively, and offensively. Best scorers for Seeb were Justin Dobbins 18 points and 15 rebounds,Devin Coleman 12 points 9 rebounds,Nooh Al Amri 13 points 8 assists,Mohhamed Al Asmi 13 points 12 rebounds. Worth mentioning that M. Al Asmi, and captan Naif Al Amri with a great defense, stoped Itifaq best player Robert Anshila on a season low 5 points. Point guard Abduazziz Al Baloshi who showed a lot of improvement under coach Memic and his staff, controlled the rhythm the game perfectly. For Itifaq worth mentioning Said Al Saadi had 18 points 8 rebounds. As Seeb club at the beginning of the season,by making a good decision with bringing European coach Muris Memic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) showed that they are on the right track for this season, and for the future of As Seeb and Oman basketball.
