Jordan finished their Asian Games campaign on a high note. They knocked down DPR Korea to occupy the seventh overall position. Abdullah Abuqoura (202-C-84) stepped up with 20 points, 13 boards and 4 assists for the winners.
DPR Korea raced in front early in the encounter but Jordan quickly denied the effort. They grabbed the lead to post a 23:19 advantage at the first break. Jordan used a 14:2 run in the second quarter to ensure a comfortable 17-point lead at the interval. DPR Korea refused to surrender as they changed the complexion of the encounter in the third term. The Korean side increased the tempo and narrowed the gap at only 2 points with one quarter remaining 55:57. Jordan tried to play aggressively in the fourth period as they maintained the lead. Fadel Alnajjar (192-G-85) and Abdullah Abuqoura stepped up for Jordan late in regulation and sealed the winning outcome.
Fadel Alnajjar produced 14 points for the winners. Malek Khashan (185-G-85) netted 12 points for Jordan. Byol Sin Kum (191-F-87) responded with 18 points for DPR Korea. Kwang Kye (180-G-84) and Jin Pak Myong (191-F-82) had 16 points each in the loss.
