Nepal beat Maldives in Tripureshwor

Nepal beat Maldives 76-62 in Tripureshwor at the South Asian Games. They opened the game with an 18-17 rally and added a 23-12 surge in the second frame. Moreover, Nepal posted a 17-11 run in the third period and did not mind a narrow 18-22 loss at the end of the game.
Ashim Shrestha top-scored for the winners with 20 points. MOHAMAD ZILAD ended up with 12 points in the losing effort.
