SABA U16 Qualifiers >> Nepal beat Maldives to secure third place

Nepal U16 Boys bags third place with 47 34 win over Maldives With the 16 Points from Aniish Magar and 9 points from skipper Keshang Thokya Thakuri in the ongoing South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) qualifiers for for the 3rd FIBA ASIA U16 Championship for Men.

Four teams Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives and India is competing in the qualifying round to be held in round robin format to qualify one team from SABA for the 3rd FIBA ASIA U16 Championship for Men scheduled to be held at Tehran, Iran from 25 Sept to 4 Oct 2013.

In the final match of the day, India beat Bangladesh 103-59 to qualify from SABA to the 3rd FIBA ASIA U16 Championship for Men scheduled to be held at Tehran, Iran from 25 September to 4 October 2013.
