NASA outclashed Whitehouse to lift the 1st Nepal National Club Level Basketball Championship

40 points from Rishi Robertson of Whitehouse Club was not enough for his team to win the title of the 1st Nepal National Club Level Basketball Championship here at Kathmandu, Nepal. NASA Club Lifted the Mens Title defeating Whitehouse Club 98 83 in the Mens Final played at National Sports Council Covered Hall, Kathmandu, Nepal with the help of Joel Debortolis 32 pts. NASA received Nrs. 25,000 as cash prize along with winners trophy while Whitehouse received Nrs. 15,000 with runners up trophy. Joel Debortoli is adjusted the MVP of the Mens category of the Championship.

The championship is organized by Nepal Basketball Association. This is the first edition of the championship and team is allowed to play 3 foreigners in their team. Top 6 Mens and 6 Womens team were invited to compete in the inaugural edition of the championship. National Sports Council member secretary Mr. Yuvraj Lama handed over the trophies for the winner and runners up team. The womens final will be played on Friday.
