Singapore - Myanmar 131:33

Singapore breezed past Myanmar in the opening game of the SEA Games. The hosts dominated from start to finish recording a well-deserved victory. Goh Delvin (199-C-95) and Low Russel (195-C-93) came up with 17 points each for Singapore.
The hosts unleashed 77 points in the first half to build a 57-point halftime advantage. They held Myanmar to just 13 points in the second half and coasted to the victory. Desmond Oh (178-SG-86) accounted for 16 points and 7 assists for the winning side. Nay Myo Min responded with 12 points for Myanmar.
