Indonesia entertained the home fans with an easy win in the SEA Games 2011 opener in Group B. The hosts rallied past Myanmar for the initial win. Amin Amin Prihantono (188-F-82) scored 18 points to lead the effort.
Indonesia grabbed the lead early on and posted a 23:15 advantage af ter ten minutes. They maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. Indonesia ensured a 43:26 halftime advantage. The home team limited Myanmar to just 6 points in the third quarter boosting their lead. Indonesia entered the fourth frame up by as many as 32 points and never looked back en route to the win. Faisal Julius Ahmad and Rony Gunawan (194-F/C-80) notched 8 points apiece for Indonesia. Ohn Phay answered with 12 points for Myanmar. Chang Chang Gon (194-F-68) and Win Cho netted 10 points each with latter adding 14 rebounds in the loss.
