Apes and Selenge exchanged wins at the start of their semifinal series.
Apes claimed an 82-80 win in Game 1. Selenge entered the fourth frame up by six points but Apes went on a strong rally in the final term to snatch the win. Jordan Harris (194-G-1997, college: Georgia) stepped up with 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge. Jay Scrubb (198-G/F-2000, college: John A.Logan) posted game-high 28 points for the Bodons.
Selenge bounced back in Game 2. The Bodons outscored Apes 87-81 at home court to tie things up at 1-1. Jay Scrubb was pivotal with 35 points and 7 rebounds, while Tulga Otgondari (180-PG-2000) had 23 points in the victory. Dulguun Ganbaatar) finished with 19 points and 9 caroms in the loss.
