Pirates and Amazons take 2-0 leads in their semifinal series

Pirates stormed past Aravt 79-49 for 2-0 lead in the League semifinal series. Altanzool came up with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Blanks added 15 points for the winners. Pirates accumulated a 37-26 halftime lead. They extended the gap at 18-point mark at the final intermission and cruised to the win. Aravt replied with 15 points from Carmen Jaquelin.
Ulaanbaatar Amazons cruised past Leopards 90-61 en route to the second victory in their series. Bolortsetseg Tsendjav (173-SG-2002) came up with 17 points and 9 rebounds, while Ariuntsetseg Bat-Erdene (180-F/C-2001) contributed 15 points.
