Norvel Pelle (ex Knox R.) joins Falcons

Norvel Pelle

Khovd Falcons (MBL) agreed terms with 32-year-old American (who also has a Lebanese passport) power forward Norvel Pelle (208cm-105kg-1993, college: Iona, agency: BIG). He played last season with Knox Raiders in the Australian NBL One. In 12 games, he averaged 12.2ppg, 6.6rpg, and 1.5bpg. He contributed to their regular-season victory and semifinals appearance.
Part of last season he spent at Beirut Club (LBL) in the Lebanese league. Pelle also played for another Lebanese team, Antranik Beirut (LBL), in Lebanon.
In 2013, he was drafted by the Delaware 87ers (D-League) in the first round (6th overall).
He attended Iona College and it's his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Pelle has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016. He has been regularly called to the Lebanese Senior National Team since 2017.
Pelle is a very experienced player. His career has taken him to three different continents, where he played in eight different countries. He has played professionally in Iran (Gorgan), Italy (Openjobmetis Varese and Torino), Lebanon (Homentmen), Taiwan (Dacin Tigers), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz, Brooklyn Nets and NY Knicks), NBA G League (Noblesville Boom, Cleveland Charge, Delaware Blue Coats and Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico) and NBA Summer League (Philadelphia 76ers).
