Moore's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old American guard McKenzie Moore (198-G-1992) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Zavkhan Brothers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Miners (#4, 2-1) 69-68. Thanks to this victory Brothers moved-up to the 6th position in Mongolian league. Brothers is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Moore had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Brothers' top player in his first season with the team. The University of Texas at El Paso graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moore is in league's top in points (3rd best: 26.2ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.0rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg,2.6spg and 62.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Byron Wesley (196-G-1992) of Mongolians Basketball Team. He is American guard in his first season at Mongolians. In the last game Wesley recorded an impressive 31 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Mongolians lost that game 68-85 to Xac Broncos (3-2). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Wesley is a newcomer at Mongolians and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.6ppg (#8). He also recorded 3.2 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Brandis Raley-Ross (189-SG-1987) of Khovd Falcons (#8). Raley-Ross got into 30-points club by scoring 38 points in the last round. He went also for six assists. Despite Raley-Ross' great performance the Falcons lost 93-96 to BCH Knights (#2, 4-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Raley-Ross has individually a great season in Mongolia. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 29.0ppg (best scorer).
