BCH Knights edged Falcons at home 96-93. BCH Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a good game for American guard Davion Warren (198-1999, college: Texas Tech) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 9 assists and 5 steals. contributed with 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. answered with 38 points (!!!) and 6 assists for Falcons. Falcons will play next round against Brothers trying to get back on the winning streak. BCH Knights will try to continue on its current victory against Xac Broncos in Ulaanbaatar.
Miners (2-1) recorded a loss in Erdenet. Hosts were edged by Brothers (2-2) 69-68. It was a great evening for American guard McKenzie Moore (198-1992, college: UTEP) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds. Yuki Ishibashi helped adding 9 points. The best for the losing side was American guard Davion Warren (198-1999, college: Texas Tech) with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Brothers will play against Darkhan (#7) at home in the next round. Miners will play against Selenge in Sukhbaatar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
A very close game took place in (derby !!!) between Apes and Broncos. Apes (4-1) got a very close home victory over Broncos (3-2). Apes managed to escape with a 1-point win 74-73 in the game for the second place. It was an exceptional evening for Dulguun Ganbaatar who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Barsbold Baatar-Erdene came up with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for Xac Broncos in the defeat. Apes will meet at home BCH Knights in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Broncos will play against BCH Knights and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 3: bottom-ranked Darkhan beat Selenge on the road 87-81. Xac Broncos won against Mongolians on its own court 85-68. Selenge managed to outperform Metal in Sukhbaatar 82-73. Falcons recorded a loss to Apes at home 75-78.
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 26 points and 7 rebounds by Peter Jok of Apes.



Selenge - Darkhan 81-87

There was a surprise result when United (1-3) beat Bodons (2-3) in Sukhbaatar 87-81 on Wednesday. Darkhan made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Anthony Nelson (193-1998, college: Manhattan) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import center Marlon Johnson (208-1994, college: NMHU) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. American forward Ahmad Gilbert (200-1996, college: St.Thomas, FL) came up with 28 points and 7 rebounds and Indian center Palpreet Brar (204-1994) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Selenge in the defeat. Four Selenge players scored in double figures. United will meet Brothers (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bodons will play against Miners and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Very expected game when Mongolians (1-3) lost to Broncos (3-2) in Ulaanbaatar 68-85 on Tuesday. Xac Broncos shot 61.7 percent from the field and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Xac Broncos outrebounded Mongolians 37-23 including a 30-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Xac Broncos especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Xac Broncos made 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for who led the winners and scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Four Broncos players scored in double figures. American guard Byron Wesley (196-1992, college: Gonzaga) came up with 31 points and 4 assists and his fellow the other American import import center Marlon Johnson (208-1994, college: NMHU) added 10 points respectively for Mongolians in the defeat. His fellow American import guard Mike Williams (188-1996, college: Rutgers) accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
