Wesley number one in Mongolia MBL for round 1 (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Byron Wesley (196-G-1992) had an amazing evening in the last round for Mongolians Basketball Team, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 33-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, seven rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Selenge (#10, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 85-79. Thanks to this victory Mongolians moved-up to the 7th position in Mongolian MBL. Mongolians is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Wesley had a remarkable 91.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Mongolians' top player in his first season with the team.

The second best player in last round's games was young American McKenzie Moore (198-G-1992) of Zavkhan Brothers. Moore had a very good evening with a triple-double of 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Bad luck as Brothers lost that game 81-91 to Xac Broncos (2-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Moore is a newcomer at Brothers, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#8). His other stats are also decent: 8.5rpg and 11.5apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was Dulguun Ganbaatar of IHC Apes (#4). Ganbaatar scored 23 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of Apes, leading his team to a 77-74 win against Metal (1-1). Apes needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Ganbaatar has a great season in Mongolia. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.5ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 9.5rpg (4th best).

10. Jordan Tolbert (200-F-1992) of BCH Knights - 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists
