Selenge Bodons Sukhbaatar (MBL) added to their roster experienced 35-year old USA ex-international center DeMarcus Cousins (211cm-122kg-1990, college: Kentucky) for new 2025-26 season. He joins another USA player Ahmad Gilbert who is already in the roster.
It is actually his comeback to Bodons as he has played here before. He was top rebounder at Mets de Guaynabo in Puerto Rican BSN league last season where in 10 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 18.2ppg, 9.0rpg and 4.7apg. The last season he played at Bodons in Mongolian MBL where in 12 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 23.3ppg, 12.5rpg, 4.3apg, 1.3spg and 1.5bpg. Cousins helped them to make it to the semifinals.
In 2010 he was drafted by Sacramento Kings (NBA) as #5 pick overall. The former University of Kentucky standout is in his 16th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Cousins' career allowed him to visit three different continents. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Cousins has played professionally in Taiwan (Leopards and Mustangs) and NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Denver Nuggets, GS Warriors, Houston Rockets and Milwaukee Bucks).
