Bodons made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Broncos turnovers and outrebounded them 36-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. Bodons looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Broncos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Ahmad Gilbert (200-1996, college: St.Thomas, FL) scored 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward DeMarcus Cousins (211-1990, college: Kentucky) chipped in 21 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Bodons players scored in double figures. The former international Baatar-Erdene Barsbold (-2004) responded with 17 points (perfect from downtown making all five shots) and American guard Ian Miller (191-1991, college: FSU, agency: Diamond Sports) scored 16 points.

Metal was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. International guard Ulzii Myagmarsuren (181-2000) notched 26 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and American swingman Kris Clyburn (196-1996, college: UNLV) supported him with 18 points and 4 assists. Even 26 points by American guard Byron Wesley (196-1992, college: Gonzaga) did not help to save the game for Metal. His fellow American import power forward Devon Scott (205-1994, college: Dayton) added 10 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the guests.
