Experienced American Devon Scott (205-F/C-1994) had a great game in the last round for BIM Bishrelt Metal Ulaanbaatar and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 24.
The 30-year old power forward had a double-double of 29 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Darkhan (#8, 10-13) 94-87. Metal maintains the 3rd position in Mongolian MBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Metal will need more victories to improve their 15-9 record. In the team's last game Scott had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Metal's top player in his first season with the team. University of Dayton graduate has very impressive stats this year. Scott is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 8.3rpg) and averages solid 60.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Terran Petteway (198-F-1992, agency: MSG) of Darkhan United. Petteway impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as United lost that game 87-94 to the higher-ranked Metal (#3, 15-9). Darkhan is still second from the bottom in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-13 record. Petteway is a newcomer at Darkhan and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Shamorie Ponds (185-G-1998) of Erdenet Miners (#4). Ponds showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Miners, leading his team to a 87-81 win against slightly lower-ranked Selenge (#5, 12-10). Miners needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 12 lost games. Ponds has a great season in Mongolia. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.1ppg (6th best) and assists with 4.1apg (8th best). He also has 3.8spg and a FGP of 62.0%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
