M Winx inks Michaela Porter, ex ViVe

Michaela Porter

M Winx (MBL) agreed terms with 25-year old American power forward Michaela Porter (182cm-1999, college: App State). She joins another USA player Taylor Hosendove who is already in the roster.
She supposed to play at ViVe in Finnish Korisliiga. In 13 games she had 13.7ppg, 10.7rpg, 4.2apg and 1.5spg this season. The last season season she played at KR Reykjavik (Division I) in Icelandic league. She also played 21 games in Icelandic Division I where she was league's third best scorer with impressive 23.0ppg and averaged 11.0rpg, 3.2apg and 3.2spg. 2023-24 was a great season as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic Division I Forward of the Year, League Player of the Week and named to Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic Division I First Team.
She has played also professionally in Iceland and Portugal (Quinta dos Lombos).
Her team won Portuguese Cup in 2023.
Porter graduated from Appalachian State University in 2022 and it is her third season as a professional player. She played also for University of Cincinnati for 2 years.
