Esho's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old NGR-USAn power forward Maxie Esho (206-F/C-1991) had a great game in the last round for Erdenet Miners and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
He had a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Metal (#4, 10-9) 105-99. Miners maintains the 8th position in Mongolian league. Miners is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-12 record. In the team's last game Esho had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Miners' top player in his first season with the team. University of Massachusetts graduate has very impressive stats this year. Esho is in league's top in points (8th best: 20.5ppg), rebounds (6th best: 8.3rpg) and averages solid 1.1bpg and 57.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was McKenzie Moore (198-G-1992) of Zavkhan Brothers. He is American guard in his first season at Brothers. In the last game Moore recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Brothers cruised to a 95-87 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Darkhan (#6, 9-9). This victory allowed Brothers to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 9-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Moore is a newcomer at Brothers and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to B Wesley of BIM Bishrelt Metal Ulaanbaatar (#4). Wesley showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in the last round. Despite Wesley's great performance the Metal lost 99-105 to the lower-ranked Miners (#8, 8-12). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Metal needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 10 victories and 9 lost games. Wesley has a great season in Mongolia. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.2ppg (6th best) and assists with 4.8apg (2nd best).
