Wesley's 31-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

B Wesley had an amazing evening in the last round for BIM Bishrelt Metal Ulaanbaatar and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had the game-high 31 points adding six rebounds and nine assists for Metal in his team's victory, helping them to beat Apes (#4, 9-7) 80-75. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Metal is placed at 3rd position in Mongolian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Metal will need more victories to improve their 10-8 record. In the team's last game Wesley had a remarkable 63.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Metal's top player in his first season with the team. Wesley has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 21.1ppg), assists (3rd best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 58.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Justin Moss (203-F/C-1993) of Nalaikh Bison. He is American forward in his first season at Bison. In the last game Moss recorded an impressive double-double of 37 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Bizon lost that game 102-107 to the higher-ranked Darkhan (#5, 8-7). This loss caused Bison to slide to the very bottom (10) position in the standings. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Bizon managed to get this year. Moss is a newcomer at Bison and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Deng Acuoth (208-C-1996) of IHC Apes (#4). Acuoth scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). Despite Acuoth's great performance the Apes lost 75-80 to #3 ranked Metal. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Apes needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 9 victories and 7 lost games. Acuoth has a very solid season. In 5 games in Mongolia he scored 13.8ppg.
