Cylla number one in Mongolia MBL for round 14

Haitian Forward Jeantal Cylla (201-F-1996) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Selenge Bodons Sukhbaatar, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (34 points, eight rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Knights (#5, 8-8) 76-73. Bodons maintains the 2nd position in Mongolian MBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Selenge will need more victories to improve their 9-5 record. In the team's last game Cylla had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Bodons's top player in his first season with the team. Jeantal Cylla averages this season 30.1ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Kenny Wooten Jr. (204-F-1998) of Ulaanbaatar TLG. Wooten Jr. had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as UB TLG lost that game 74-84 to the higher-ranked Apes (#4, 8-6). UB TLG is still second from the bottom in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-11 record. Wooten Jr. is one of the most experienced players at UB TLG and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was B Wesley of BIM Bishrelt Metal Ulaanbaatar (#3). Wesley got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . He was a key player of Metal, leading his team to a 91-73 easy win against the lower-ranked Bison (#10, 5-12). Metal needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 7 lost games. Wesley has a great season in Mongolia. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.3ppg (8th best) and assists with 4.0apg (4th best).
