B Wesley's triple-double lands him Player of the Week award

B Wesley had a great game in the last round for BIM Bishrelt Metal Ulaanbaatar and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
The recorded a triple-double of 20 points adding also 11 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team crushed UB TLG (#6, 5-8) with 16-point margin 96-80. Metal is placed at 4th position in Mongolian MBL. Metal is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. Wesley turned to be Metal's top player in his first season with the team. B Wesley averages this season 19.8ppg and 5.6rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American swingman Kris Clyburn (196-G/F-1996) of IHC Apes. Clyburn impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Apes was edged by slightly higher-ranked Brothers (#7, 4-4) 86-85. This loss caused Apes to drop to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. Clyburn is a newcomer at Apes and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Jordan Tolbert (200-F-1992) of top-ranked Xac Broncos Ulaanbaatar. Tolbert scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Tolbert's great performance the Broncos lost 79-82 to #2 ranked Knights. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. That was shocking loss for Xac Broncos and their fans. Hopefully so far almost perfect season will not turn around. They still have impressive 12-1 record in the league holding top position in the standings. Tolbert plays for a very strong team and Xac Broncos has many quality players. So achieving that high stats is even more impressive. Tolbert has a great season in Mongolia. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.2rpg (5th best).
