Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Brothers (2-1) in Uliastai on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Bodons (4-3) 72-67. Selenge dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Brothers' 20. American forward Ahmad Gilbert (200-1996, college: St.Thomas, FL) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Enhtaivan Tserenbaatar (200) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Diamond Stone (208-1997, college: Maryland) with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Selenge moved-up to fourth place. Brothers at the other side dropped to the eighth position with one game lost.
Very important is a home loss of second ranked Knights (5-2) against eleventh ranked Miners (1-7) on Sunday night. Host Knights were defeated by Miners in a tough game at home 76-82. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Knights. Canadian forward Tyrrel Tate (196-1992, college: Fayetteville St.) notched 31 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Bolor-Erdene Gantsolmon supported him with 6 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 26 points by the former international guard Erdenetsogt Ochirbat (184-1995) did not help to save the game for Knights. Miners maintains eleventh position with 1-7 record. Knights at the other side keep the second place with two games lost.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked UB TLG (4-4) against fifth ranked Bodons (4-3) on Sunday night. Visiting UB TLG was defeated by Bodons in a tough game in Sukhbaatar 84-93. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of UB TLG. The best player for the winners was Ahmad Gilbert who scored 39 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Anthony Harris who recorded 29 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Selenge moved-up to fourth place. Loser UB TLG dropped to the fifth position with four games lost.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 6: Apes lost to undefeated Xac Broncos on the opponent's court 55-65. Xac Broncos managed to outperform Darkhan in a home game 73-67. Metal recorded a loss to Knights on the road 81-76. Apes defeated Miners on its own court 66-62. Darkhan beat Bison in a road game 94-87.




Knights - Miners 76-82

Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Xac Broncos made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Baatar-Erdene Barsbold chipped in 11 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory.
