Brothers ink Orlando Johnson, ex Henan

Orlando Johnson

Zavkhan Brothers (MBL) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old USA ex-international guard Orlando Johnson (193cm-99kg-1989, college: UCSB, agency: BMS Sport Agency). He joins another USA player Diamond Stone who is already in the roster.
He played most recently at Henan Shedianlaojiu in Chinese NBL league. He also played for Heroes De Falcon in Venezuelan SPB where in 9 games he had 9.9ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.6apg and 1.0spg in 2023 year.
In 2012 he was drafted by Sacramento Kings (NBA) in second round (36th overall). The former University of California Santa Barbara star is in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
He also represented USA at the World University Games in Shenzhen (China) thirteen years ago. During this event he scored an average of 7.1 points per game and had 3.7 rebounds per game.
Johnson is quite experienced player. He has played in thirteen different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). Johnson has played previously professionally in Australia (Bullets), Bosnia (Igokea), Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Philippines (Beermen), Russia (Avtodor and UNICS Kazan), Spain, Taiwan (Pauian), Uruguay (Aguada), Venezuela, NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns and Indiana Pacers), Dominican Republic (Metros) and NBA G League (Austin Spurs).
Among many awards Johnson's team made it to the Taiwanese SBL Semifinals in 2019. He was voted Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese SBL Player of the Year and Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese SBL Import Player of the Year back in 2019.
