In 2016 he was drafted by New Orleans Pelicans (NBA) in second round (40th overall). The former University of Maryland standout is in his ninth season in pro basketball. He represented USA at the World Championship U17 in Dubai (UAE) ten years ago. Stone's team won Gold and he had over 13 points per game. Stone is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eleven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Stone has played previously professionally in China (Hefei), Iran (Gorgan), Kosovo (Sigal Prishtina), Kuwait (Kazma), Philippines (Bolts and Beermen), Puerto Rico (Mets and Gigantes), Taiwan (Suns and TB Herobears), Venezuela (Cocodrilos), NBA (Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz), NBA G League (SLC Stars, RGV Vipers, Iowa Wolves and Windy City Bulls) and Dominican Republic (Marineros). He won Balkan League championship title in 2024 and made it to the cup final in 2024. Stone voted toAsia-Basket.com All-Mongolian League Player of the Year in 2024.
